"Graffiti is not vandalism but a beautiful crime."

Monsieur A (or Monsieur Andre, or Andre, or Andre Saraiva) is a Portuguese graffiti artist.

I know that I am probably light years behind every one else but RMF has fallen in love with this recent find.

Andre started graffiti in 1985 but has been only recognisable since the mid 1990s when his distinctive stick figure character, usually is wearing a top hat and has an 'x' in place of one of the eyes, was seen all over the streets of Paris; he was part of the early Paris graffiti scene.

Since then his distinctive figure can be seen all over the world.

I am not one who usually enjoys modern and street art but there is just something about the character that Andre has created that I have fallen in love with.
